We Are Roofing Experts
In the state of Texas, there are zero state regulations related to residential roofing contractors — no licensing, registration or certifications are required. No liability insurance or workman’s comp are required by the state either. Most consumers don’t realize this and assume that roofing companies knocking on their door or listed online must have some sort of license and/or liability insurance.
It’s likely that they have neither, so it’s important to do your homework to make sure you’re selecting a roofing company licensed by RCAT/Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (the only roofing license option in Texas), a roofing company that is insured and a roofing company that is experienced and permanently based in North Texas (not just in town for the opportunities storms bring them).
Texas Roofing License and Other Springtree Credentials
Springtree Roofing and Restoration are residential roofing experts licensed by the RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas), License #01-0245. The state of Texas does not require any licensing, certification or registration of roofers or general contractors, which means that anyone can call themselves a roofer. To help alleviate the issues this causes, RCAT offers a voluntary licensing program, with rigorous testing and continuing education requirements, and we are proud to be licensed through it. If a roofing contractor in Texas says they are licensed, ask them to see a copy of it and/or for their license #. You can also call RCAT at 888.997.6631 to verify.
Springtree Roofing and Restoration is also an active member of the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), is a Certainteed Select ShingleMaster and is a GAF Certified Master Elite Contractor. We also carry both liability insurance and workman’s compensation insurance. Additionally, we believe in treating our customers the way we would like to be treated, and our reviews and customer testimonials reflect that.
